Privacy Notice

Mustaqeem Morshed, operator of Zappi, is the data controller for personal data processed through the Service. This notice explains what we collect and who we share it with.

Data we collect

Account data: email address, username, display name, chosen language and age band. Learning data: stories opened, quiz answers, XP, streaks, badges, Olympiad scores and leaderboard opt-in. Chat data: questions asked to Zappi about a story and its replies. Billing data: subscription status, plan, renewal date and the payment identifiers Paddle gives us — we never see or store full card numbers. Technical data: basic log and error information needed to keep the Service running securely.

Why we use it

To create and secure accounts, to show progress, streaks, badges and leaderboards, to answer story questions, to provide and bill subscriptions, and to fix problems. We do not sell personal data and we do not show advertising to children.

Who we share it with

Paddle.com Market Ltd — our reseller and Merchant of Record; it processes payments, tax and billing support and receives the data needed for your order. Supabase — hosting of our database and authentication. Lovable — application hosting and the AI gateway used to write stories and power Zappi chat. Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google. We also share data where the law requires it.

Children

Zappi is built for children, and accounts should be set up and supervised by a parent or guardian, who can ask us to access or delete a child's data at any time. We collect only what the learning features need and never sell or profile children's data for advertising.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep account and learning data while the account exists, and billing records for as long as tax rules require. Email us to delete an account; we remove personal data within 30 days apart from records we must legally retain.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Contact fmustaqeem02@protonmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
