Woah! This Old Car from 1918 Had MORE Power Than Some Modern EVs!

Imagine an electric car so old, it was around when your great-grandparents were kids! Guess what? It could go further than some electric cars today!

Long, long ago, even before your grandparents were born, people had electric cars! Yup, you heard that right! We're talking about a car called the Detroit Electric, from way back in 1918. It recently showed up at a fancy car show, and everyone was super surprised by how cool it was!

This awesome old-timer could zoom for about 80 miles on a single charge. To put that in perspective, a pretty modern electric car from 2011, the Nissan Leaf, could only go about 73 miles. That's like the 1918 car winning a super-duper old-school marathon against a newer one!
