A Giant Power Station Shrunk Down to Lunchbox Size!
Imagine carrying an entire wall outlet right inside your backpack without hurting your shoulders!
When you go camping or face a stormy blackout, having extra electricity is super handy. Companies make portable power stations for this, but they usually look like heavy luggage that weighs as much as a bowling ball!
Now, battery maker Jackery has revealed the Explorer 100D, its tiniest power bank station yet. It measures barely 4.6 inches across and weighs under two pounds. That is lighter than a big bottle of juice, making it easy to toss into a backpack.
Even better, this pint-sized gadget uses special battery ingredients called lithium iron phosphate, or LFP. These batteries do not heat up as easily as older types, making them much safer, and they can be recharged thousands of times before wearing out.
