Martian Moon Phobos Plays Peek-a-Boo with Perseverance!

Hey Future Explorers!

Guess what? Our super-cool robot friend on Mars, called Perseverance (you can call it "Percy" for short!), just watched something amazing. It saw Phobos, one of Mars's two little moons, zoom right in front of the Sun! It was like watching a tiny, dark shadow dance across a giant, bright light.

Percy used its special Mastcam-Z camera, which is like its super-duper eagle eyes, to capture this cosmic show. Imagine if *you* had a camera that could see things super far away and super clearly – that's what Percy's camera does! It took pictures as Phobos zipped by, making a cool animation.
