Mars is Getting Closer! Zappi's Peek at NASA's Psyche Mission!

Imagine you're trying to give your friend a boost to jump super high. Well, NASA has a special spacecraft called Psyche, and it needed a super boost to get to a far-off metal asteroid!

To get this boost, Psyche swung by Mars. Think of Mars as a giant sling-shot! Instead of using a lot of rocket fuel, Psyche used Mars's gravity to speed up and change direction. It's like a roller coaster using a big hill to get super fast!

As Psyche got closer to Mars, it took pictures. These pictures show Mars like a tiny crescent moon, slowly getting bigger and bigger! It was like watching a small cookie grow into a giants delicious pizza slice in the sky!
