Gaming in 4D: Can you smell the graphics?
A new headset doesn't just show you the game — it lets you SMELL what's in it!
Most games use your eyes and ears. But a startup called Aromality just released 'ScentPods' — a headset attachment that releases tiny puffs of smell during a game. Enter a forest? Pine trees. Bake in a cooking game? Warm cookies. It works by mixing 30 base scents like a smell-printer. Reviewers say the added realism is amazing (unless you're playing a horror game, where suddenly smelling old fish is… not fun). Only a few games support it so far, but Nintendo just announced their next big adventure will include ScentPods support.
