Well, YouTube has a special way of counting how many times people watch a video, called 'views.' Before, it used to wait a little bit to make sure you were really watching before counting it as a view. But now, they're changing the rules to be more like other apps you might use, like TikTok or Instagram!

Starting soon (August 24th to be exact!), as soon as a video starts playing, *POOF!* It counts as a view. This means those numbers under your favorite creator's videos are probably going to look much bigger, much faster! It's like if every time you peeked at a book, it instantly counted as 'read.'
