Super Spacewalkers Get a Super Special Space Award!
Imagine going to space and then getting a HUGE medal for it! That's what's happening for some awesome astronauts!
Hey Space Explorers! Guess what? The amazing astronauts heading to the Moon on the Artemis II mission are getting a super-duper special award called the Congressional Space Medal of Honor!
This isn't just any old medal; it's like a superhero badge given to people who do incredible things in space, especially if they face a lot of danger or make a huge difference to how we explore the universe. It's one of the highest honors you can get!
The brave crew, including NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, plus Canada's very own Jeremy Hansen, are getting this shiny medal because they're about to fly around the Moon! That's a super big deal because it's the first time humans will go near the Moon in over 50 years.
