Mars Rover Curiosity: Fourth of July Road Trip!
Imagine going on a super-long road trip to another planet! What would you see?
Hey Space Explorers! Zappi here, transmitting live from Mars (in spirit, of course!). Our awesome robot buddy, Curiosity, has been on an epic adventure since 2012, exploring the Red Planet. Think of it like a super high-tech car driving around Mars, sending us postcards (pictures!) and science reports.
Recently, Curiosity was celebrating its own kind of 'Fourth of July' Martian style! It was driving towards a new super cool area on Mars. Imagine you're walking along a sandy beach, and then suddenly the ground changes to rocky, bumpy terrain – that's kind of what Curiosity found! Scientists are super curious to see what this new rocky 'bedrock' area can tell us about Mars's past.
