Blast Off! When a Rocket First Sailed the Seas!

Hey Future Explorers! Did you know that space rockets didn't always launch from big land bases? Way back on September 6, 1947, something amazing happened: the U.S. Navy tried launching a *real* rocket, called a V-2, from a ship for the very first time!

Think about it like this: usually, you'd launch a paper airplane from solid ground, right? But these brave engineers decided to try launching a super powerful, actual rocket from a *moving boat*! It was a bit like trying to throw a basketball from a roller skate while it's zooming – tricky!
