Lettuce Mystery: A tiny bug makes some salads sick!

Imagine you're making a giant, super green salad, and suddenly, one of the ingredients decides to go on strike! That's kind of what happened with some iceberg lettuce. A company called Taylor Farms, which makes lots of food for places like Taco Bell, had to tell everyone to stop selling certain lettuce.

Why? Because a super-duper tiny bug, nicknamed Cyclospora, decided to throw a party on the lettuce. This bug is so small you can't even see it without a special microscope! It doesn't make the lettuce look or smell bad, but if you eat it, it can give you a tummy ache or make you feel yucky.
