Why Are Old GameCube Games Super Duper Pricey and Hard to Find?

Ever wish you could play awesome old games but they cost a fortune?

Imagine trying to find a treasure chest (your favorite old video game!) but it's super rare and costs a mountain of gold coins. That's kinda like what's happening with Nintendo GameCube games!

When these games first came out, people probably didn't think they'd become such rare gems. Not as many GameCubes were sold compared to other consoles like the PlayStation 2. This means fewer copies of the games were made in the first place, making them harder to find today, like finding a needle in a haystack!

Plus, many games from that time came in big, bulky plastic cases with instruction booklets. Over the years, these cases can get lost or broken, and the games themselves can get scratched or stop working. So, finding a GameCube game that's still in tip-top shape, with its original box and booklet, is like finding a super shiny, perfectly preserved ancient artifact!
