Uh Oh, Our Giant Water Straw is Drying Up!

Hey mini-tech explorers! Zappi here with some news from a sunny part of our world. You know how important water is, right? For drinking, bathing, and even making yummy food! Well, in a big, sunny part of America called the Southwest, there's a huge river named the Colorado River. Lots of states and millions of people depend on this one river, like a giant, super-important water tap for their homes and farms.

But here's the tricky part: this awesome river is getting smaller and smaller. It's like someone is drinking from the straw faster than the juice box can refill! For a long, long time, folks in these states shared the river's water. But now, with less rain and snow filling it up, there just isn't enough for everyone.
