At first, rumors said OpenAI was aiming for an enormous pile of money. But now, reports suggest they are lowering their target just a bit. Raising billions is tricky, even when everyone is super excited about artificial intelligence!
Why would they ask for less? Sometimes investors want to be cautious, or maybe the company decided it doesn't need all those billions all at once. Even with a smaller goal, they will still have plenty of resources to train big digital brains.
