Bye-Bye Wallet? Digital IDs Come to Pubs in England & Wales!

Hey Future Tech Stars! Guess what? In England and Wales, there's a cool new way to show you're old enough for certain grown-up places, like restaurants and pubs. Instead of digging out a physical ID card from your wallet, you might soon be able to use a special app on your phone!

Think of it like this: your physical ID (like a passport or a driving license) is a paper key that unlocks things that need proof of age. Now, some companies are making digital keys – special apps that hold all that same info safely on your phone. These new rules mean that places like pubs can now legally accept these digital keys, not just the paper ones.
