Denver's Green Buildings Win in Court!

Ever wonder if buildings can be good for the planet? A big court decision just said YES!

Imagine your house or school using super-smart ways to stay warm in winter and cool in summer without wasting tons of energy. That's what Denver, a city in Colorado, is trying to do with its buildings!

They made new rules called 'Energy Codes' to help buildings use less electricity and gas. This isn't just good for your wallet (lower bills!), but it's also awesome for the Earth because it means less pollution in the air we breathe.

But some grown-up groups weren't so happy about these new rules. They thought it would be too hard or too expensive to change. So, they took the city to court, like a big real-life game of 'argue your case'!
