Are Electric Cars Taking a Secret Nap? Car Companies Go Quiet!

Hey, future tech explorers! Zappi here with some news about electric cars (EVs). You know, those cool cars that run on electricity instead of gas?

For a while, grown-up car companies, like the ones that make the cars your parents drive, were super excited about EVs. They talked about them all the time, making lots of announcements and showing off new models. It was like they were shouting from the rooftops about how amazing electric cars were going to be!

But here's the funny thing: even though they talked a *lot* about EVs, they weren't actually selling *that* many compared to regular gas cars. It was a bit like saying you love broccoli but only ever eating pizza. Now, something has changed. It's gotten really, really quiet. Those big car companies aren't talking about EVs as much anymore in the USA.
